J28 Church is a growing, friendly, family church located in South Normanton, Derbyshire right in the heart of Great Britian. We are a church that is affiliated with the British Assemblies of God.
We meet every Sunday for uplifting inspiring worship services where all are welcome to attend. There are also various ministries, events and social gatherings that take place throughout the week.
We believe that the message of the gospel is unrivalled in its power to change and transform lives. Therefore, everything we do as a local church is geared to glorify God and spread the message of Christ’s love, hope and restoration to people.
The Church has seen God move powerfully across our region over numerous decades with scores of people having come to Christ through the ministry and outreach of the church. Now meeting in a modern purpose-built facility since September 2012, we believe these are days of great promise and that the power of the gospel is not only stored up in stories of the past but that the mission and purpose of Jesus is as fresh and relevant as ever and so we’re hungry to see God do what only He can in our region!
